General MVP development leads with an individually scoped price and timeline. AI MVPs are a specialization; automation and existing-product work are additional paths. Each proposal defines what you can launch and what is outside scope.

Your engineering multiplier. Senior engineering combines first-release decisions, implementation, testing, deployment, and handoff. AI tools assist delivery; they do not replace engineering judgment or require AI features in your product.

General MVP price and timeline are scoped individually. Start with the first user journey, not a bundle of development hours. Before work starts, your proposal defines the release, fixed price, milestones, assumptions, exclusions, and acceptance checks.

Senior judgment helps you choose what to ship now and what to defer. Weekly demos, testing, production deployment, source code, and handoff documentation are defined in the agreed scope.

What affects the price?

Hosting, API usage, and third-party licenses are separate unless included explicitly. Ongoing maintenance and new features are separately scoped; an optional retainer is not required.

If the idea needs definition, start with discovery

The published Discovery Phase is $5,000 for requirements, wireframes, and a fixed-price proposal. The fee is credited if you proceed to development within 30 days. Discovery is recommended when requirements are unclear, not mandatory for every project.

Implementation safeguard

If none of the assessed workflows meets the feasibility, value, and safety requirements for implementation, the engagement concludes with the workflow map, scorecard, and recommended roadmap. We will not automate a workflow simply to satisfy the package.

If you proceed with an AI Opportunity & Implementation Sprint within 30 days, the audit fee is credited toward the sprint.

What do I own?

Upon full payment, you own custom code developed specifically for the project. Open-source and third-party components retain their licenses; pre-existing tools are subject to the agreement. Source code, documentation, and deployment notes support handoff to your team or another developer.

What happens after delivery?

For 30 days after delivery, Somnio will correct verified defects at no charge when custom code does not function as specified in the agreed requirements.

New features, changed requirements, and third-party service changes are excluded. An optional retainer is separately scoped and priced. It is not required for ownership or continuing with another developer. Your signed agreement controls final warranty and ownership terms.

What if the scope changes?

We document the effect on price, timeline, and deliverables for approval before doing work beyond the agreed scope. A fixed price applies to the agreed requirements, not an unlimited feature list.

Does my product need AI?

No. AI-assisted engineering can support delivery without adding AI to your product. Choose the AI MVP specialization only when an AI feature serves the user journey and its costs and risks are understood.
